Welcome to the official webpage of the Association of International NGOs in Nepal (AIN)!
As a network of INGOs, we strive to contribute to a prosperous and peaceful Nepal. We aim to support the humanitarian and development efforts in Nepal, contribute to fulfilling Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and other national and international commitments in an inclusive and environmentally friendly way, and promote recognition of civil society.
AIN plays a crucial role in connecting Nepal with the outside world, bringing the country the required resources. AIN members bring funding, experience, and technical expertise from international communities. Our network brings together diverse voices and expertise, fostering innovative approaches and learning through sharing best practices.
Our collaborative spirit is our strength. We are at the forefront of responding to emergencies, advocating for systemic change, and supporting community empowerment. Our collective efforts are a testament to the power of collaboration, compassion, and the unwavering belief in a better future for all. We tirelessly work to address the most pressing challenges—poverty, inequality, health crises, environmental degradation, and the defense of human rights—with the aim of creating sustainable and equitable solutions.
In line with the Nepal government’s milestones of LDC graduation (2026) and SDG (2030) approaching soon, AIN has developed its next 7 years’ strategy (2024-2030). During this time, we plan to focus on three key goals - strengthening a conducive policy and working environment for CSOs and civic actors, supporting the government of Nepal in achieving its goals, and internal strengthening of AIN to become a proactive, trusted, and credible learning and sharing platform for INGOs in Nepal.
Finally, we’d like to thank all agencies of the Government of Nepal, including the Ministry of Women, Children, and Senior Citizens, the Social Welfare Council, and provincial and local governments, for entrusting our member organizations with working hand in hand for Nepal's development.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Dr. SP Kalaunee
