As an experienced humanitarian leader with strong interpersonal, strategic, and collaborative skills, and judgment to take the lead or empower others; I will actively participate in discussions and decision-making to ensure AIN has a strong and unified voice to tackle the challenges facing our INGO community. In my current role since 2022; I previously served as Program Director and then Country Director of ADRA Philippines since 2015. From 2010 – 2015, I was Programmes Officer / Emergency Response Coordinator at ADRA- UK. I’ve over two decades of experience in international relief and development across multiple countries, beginning my career with Medair as a Coordinator in Angola and then Relief and Logistics Manager in Afghanistan. After working for UK local government in emergency planning, I took a key role in reorganising the British Red Cross into the lead emergency response support organisation in London. I took an active role in the Philippines INGO Network as co-convenor in 2020 and convenor (chair) in 2021. This involved chairing monthly network meetings, representing the network in humanitarian forums (i.e., UNHCT), and promoting member collaboration. I intend to add value to AIN by bringing this learning and experience to contribute positively to the collective efforts of AIN. |
